Katy ISD is opening the doors to learning’s first big milestone as kindergarten enrollment opens today, Feb. 2, inviting families to begin an exciting and seamless start to their child’s educational journey. Enrollment is open through June 26.

Families, students and staff filled Katy Heritage Park for Katy ISD’s annual Brick Unveiling Ceremony, where the District honored its 2024-25 Campus Teachers of the Year with commemorative bricks installed as permanent tributes to their service.

Alexander Elementary (RAE) parents and community members will see a familiar face as the campus leader. Jeannette Rodricks has been named the new principal, bringing to the role her 14 years of Katy ISD service and proven track record of student success.
